State Senator Doris Turner celebrates over $45 million in IDOT projects over coming years across her dirstrict

Decatur and Springfield residents will soon see much-needed upgrades on the roads, as Sen. Doris Turner (D-Springfield) recently noted that some $47 million from the Illinois Department of Transportation’s $40 billion multi-year plan has been allocated to 16 projects in her district.

The project funds improvements across Central Illinois in all modes of transportation: roads and bridges, aviation, transit, freight and passenger rail, waterways, and bicycle and pedestrian accommodations.

IDOT shares updates on I-57 and Rebuild Illinois projects in Central Illinois.
