The Springfield Sliders edged out the Danville Dans Sunday at Robin Roberts Stadium, 5-4.
It took six innings, but Springfield was able to overcome a three-run deficit.
Danville came back in the seventh with another run but the Sliders secured their win with back-to-back doubles in the eighth and a bases loaded single in the ninth.
The Sliders are over the Dans for the season 7-5.
Springfield is off Monday. They take on the Dubois County Bombers Tuesday in Indiana.
