  8:00AM 9:00PM Lap and Swim Hours   The Springfield Park District will be offering after school lap swim hours beginning March 1 at Eisenhower Pool (2351 E. Cornell St.). Spring Lap & Family Swim hours at Eisenhower Pool are as follows: Lap Swim Hours Monday - Friday 7 – 9 a.m., 11 a.m. – 1 p.m./ Monday, Wednesday and Friday 3:30 p.m. – 5:30 p.m./ Monday and Wednesday 8:30 p.m. – 9:45 p.m. / Sunday 9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Family Swim Hours: Friday 7 – 9 p.m./ Sunday 2 – 4 p.m. For additional information, please contact Bob Barrett at 525-8847 or by email at bobbarrett@springfieldparks.org . This event is a celebration of the love we have for our pets by providing animal care givers access to the latest information from local veterinarians, trainers and behaviorists, nutritionists and groomers to ensure our four footed family members are as healthy as they can be as well providing access to some of the latest products so they can be happy and maybe just a little bit spoiled as well.   11:00AM 1:00PM Girard Easter Egg Hunt   Girard Easter Egg Hunt from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Girard Town Square. Four egg hunts will be held at the following times: 11:15 a.m., 0-2 years old; 11:30 a.m., 3yrs-4yrs old; 11:45 a.m. K-1st grade; Noon, 2nd-3rd grade; 12:15 p.m. 4th-5th grade. A drawing for prizes will be held at 12:30 p.m. Miss Illinois, Megan Ervin, will make a special appearance at the Egg Hunt and will be available for pictures and autographs. Bounce houses, live music and free food and drinks will also be available. The Girard Easter Egg Hunt is sponsored by First Baptist Church, Girard.
