Tanning and animals
|The Nanny State: Bliss is just one regulation away|
The town of Kincaid, just south of Springfield, passed an ordinance that limits residents to three pets per household. This ordinance only deals with the number of dogs and cats. What does this do for breeders? What does it do to people who have pregnant cats? Also, how does the city of Kincaid go about policing this ordinance? The questions are ongoing and it seems it's one step away from outlawing people from having the ability to have something simple like a chicken coop in their backyards.
Then we'll shift our focus to the capital city to talk about several ordnances that are up for passage by the Springfield city council. One deals with legalizing video gambling machines to allow for local establishments that serve alcohol to get permits for video gambling machines. There are concerns that the ordinance will lead to more domestic issues like foreclosures, addiction and even domestic abuse.
Another ordinance in Springfield, proposed by Alderman Sam Cahnman, would restrict anyone under the age of 18 from going to a tanning parlor to use a tanning booth--even if that person has permission from their parents. There's no question that the science points to tanning by teens leading to an increased number of skin cancer cases. But, is this something that should be litigated or should there instead be an information campaign. We'll ask the questions, debate the answers and also raise the point of other looming public health concerns like the Illinois fluoride mandate.
|Infowars producer Aaron Dykes talks about the history of gun control through the UN|
The Arms Trade Treaty conversation at the United Nations is ongoing. We heard last week about the convention going on this month and also Senator Dick Durbin's response to the possibility attacks against the Second Amendment--something Durbin says won't happen. How sure is he? What's the history of gun control? And, what could we expect from the UN Arms Trade Treaty talks? We'll get into the debate about guns with Saturday Session.
It's been an ongoing conversation for six years on Saturday Session--the issue of secret societies. We've talked about the Illuminati, The Bilderberg Group and even Skull and Bones ad nauseam. Another group we've talked about on the air many times is The Bohemian Grove. This week, a group of elites from government, finance, and business meet to conduct a ceremony called "The Cremation of Care" where they burn a child in effigy at the alter of a 40 foot stone owl they call Molech. You can't make this stuff up. We'll talk delve into Bohemian Grove tonight on Saturday Session. Watch the video below of Alex Jones infiltrating the grove's secrets.
