Coming up on Saturday Session with Bishop--Mustaine's comments and his response, plus Politics on the public's dime, pension reform inaction, sovereign citizens, News on the March & More! That's tonight from 3 to 7p CST only on 970 WMAY, The News and Talk of Springfield!
|Dave Mustaine from Megadeth|
We'll start the show to talk about recent comments made by Megadeth's Dave Mustaine. He was on tour in Singapore where, in between songs, he said "My President [inserts pointer finger in mouth to symbolize throwing up] has been staging shootings..." He went on to mention the Fast and Furious scandal where the AFT and Department of Justice let thousands of guns "walk" across the boarder leading to the murder of hundreds of people, including a border patrol agent. He also went on to mention the Aurora, Colorado, shooting and the Oak Creek, Wisconsin, Shooting. Mustaine suggested the shootings were staged to go after American's guns.
Thursday, during the syndicated Alex Jones Show, Mustaine went on air to clarify his comments saying that when he said the president he meant the entire administration.
Mustaine referenced a statement made by Gun Owners of America founder Larry Pratt who says he never thought the government would stage shootings until the details of Fast and Furious came out.

Thursday, as I'm in the newsroom wearing my news hat (not a tinfoil hat as some of you think I wear), Free Beer and Hot Wings' Producer Steve private messaged me and asked me to response with one word.
"Do you agree with Dave Mustaine?"
My response was "huff."
I could go on for hours about this and do with Saturday Session.
The President is a figure-head and I think that Mustaine knows that.
As for staged shootings--it's not a stretch. Governments around the world, including the US government, have conducted false flag operations that kill people in order to further a certain agenda.
Am I saying that the recent shootings are staged? The evidence is still out on that, in my opinion. With the case closed in the Wisconsin shooting (where the lone shooter conviently committed suicide meaning no trial and no evidence presented regardless of eyewitnesses saying they saw four shooters ... read more about that here) and the James Holmes case being "sealed," it's important to seek the truth.
With all the oddities for both the Colorado shooting and the Wisconsin shooting (the eyewitnesses seeing multiple shooters, the police having their "lone-wolf" story being propagated by the media, the Army psychiatrist, the Psyops shooter, the neuro-science student ... on and on and on), it's important to question the "official story." Especially when there is pending legislation to keep you from owning an ammunition clip of anything over 10 bullets and an international treaty awaiting the president's signature that would severely limit your right to keep and bear arms. On that treaty, if you read the language of the leaked treaty it says that INDIVIDUAL STATES, not individuals, have the right to bear arms. Read about that here.
If not, you will certainly be duped into believing what THEY want you to believe as they play on your sentiments.
Don't be psychologically and philosophically weak. Think!
My mantra is "think for yourself and question authority."
Coming up at 4:30, we'll be joined by For the Good of Illinois' Adam Andrzejewski about an article out of The Daily Caller which indicates that employees of the Illinois Student Assistance Commission were mandated to attend work training in Chicago that actually turned out to be a quasi political rally with Jesse Jackson Jr., Jesse Jackson Sr. and Congresswoman Nancy Pelosi.
We'll get all the nitty-gritty details on why this is, not just possibly illegal, but extremely unethical.
|John Tillman, CEO of the Illinois Policy Institute|
Then at 5, we'll talk with John Tillman, CEO of The Illinois Policy Institute. The Illinois General Assembly was tasked with coming back to Springfield Friday to work on the pension crisis.
Did anything get accomplished? Nope!
What needs to be done?
How soon should something be done?
And, what are the ramifications of our lawmakers' inaction?
We'll talk with Mr. Tillman and get a grasp for just how inept lawmakers are on this issue!
Have you heard of sovereign citizens? The federal government has! A growing group of Americans who consider themselves sovereign citizens say they are not beholden to the laws of the United States courts because the courts have used admiralty law to hijack common law and enslave the people to be their surfs.
For more information on the topic, watch this informative video from 1995 featuring Johnny Liberty talking about Sovereign Citizens.
We'll explore a bit of the principles of Sovereign Citizenship and review the "warnings" put together by the Southern Poverty Law Center.
Be sure to catch the rapid-fire overview of news you should know about! We'll cover everything from courts giving the OK for cops to track suspects cell phones, the latest on Julian Assange's fight to head to Ecuador, the increase of military suicides, to the incredible number of hallow-point rounds being bought up by various government agencies. We'll get through these stories and so many more during News on the March. Take part in the conversation with Saturday Session by calling 217-629-7970 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
