Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan failed at her attempt to get the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals rethink their decision! That means the mandate put to Illinois will happen! Just how that will happen is another story all together. We'll talk about "shall" issue and "may" issue. Also, we'll get the very latest concerning a local case where a man is still being charged with violating an unconstitutional law and whether or not politics play a role. Want to sound off on the issue? Be sure to listen live and call in at 217-629-7970.
The Federal Government is incompetent. Actually, most government are incompetent. That just seems to be the nature of government. So, when a deadline is approaching that will see the slashing of ungodly amounts of money, who's to blame and who should be held accountable? Should there be more taxes or should we all just wake up to the realization that government spending must be stopped! Let's say these words all together "cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut, cut."
Back to Illinois, there's some joker in the General Assembly who thinks that Illinois has all its problems fixed. You know, the pension issues, the budget, gun rights, etc. ... all those things are solved, right? Then why not focus on the Internet and devise some new ways for the information superhighway to be regulated. A bill introduced by State Senator Ira Silverstein is named the Internet Posting Removal Act. We'll talk about this and how it could start a trend to have everyone accessing the Internet get personal Identification information.
News on the March will focus on a variety of things, including wars, rumors of wars, drones, and more! Is there a story that you think went under-reported from this week? Be sure to call in at 217-629-7970, email, Twitter or even Facebook message (logged in? message below)
