Greg Bishop takes over the airwaves from 10 to noon weekdays only on 970 WMAY, The News and Talk of Springfield. Today, we'll talk about the overpass sign wave from yesterday, a preview of the Springfield City Council meeting and more.
Overpass sign wave
Yesterday afternoon on the way home I spotted a Gadsden Flag waving above I-55 with about a dozen people holding other signs including one that said "Impeach Obama." This turned out to be an initiative that local TEA Parties were encouraged to do ... from who? Not sure. This is something we've got to talk about, because it's too often that the TEA Party injects themselves into the national conversation for the wrong reasons. Bishop On Air will make the case to go further than impeachment. We need investigations and trials for the violations of the our constitutional rights, illegal wars, torture and more ... and no, not just for the current administration but for that last administration as well.
The regularly scheduled Springfield City Council meeting from Tuesday has been postponed to this evening. We'll review what's coming up and maybe take some phone calls about an ordinance or two that's up for consideration. Also, will there be any more revelations about the ongoing police internal affairs shredding case? We'll have the latest!
News on the March
We'll cover the latest greatest news of the day as well, with News on the March--stories that may have gone unnoticed from the barrage of fluff the mainstream regularly shovels down our throats.
