The exchanges have been open for a week. What are some of the things you've noticed out there? And, to get the best rate, should you really have to move to the Quad Cities? We'll review one article where the author lays out the reasons why he won't comply at all with the health insurance mandate.
How has the partial government shutdown impacted you? We'll cover some of the more absurd stories of the Federal Government going out of their way to make the partial shutdown as annoying as possible. But, dig deep and think ... how has the partial shutdown really impacted you?
We'll also talk about what extreme means. The rhetoric about "extremists" postponing a budget or pushing the country towards default needs to be outed for what it is: misconceptions about what is really extreme. What is extreme? A year-after-year inflated debt ceiling. Billions a month in bond buying by the Federal Reserve, trillions spent on wars of aggression, giving weapons to elements of al-Queda in Syria ... These are things that are extreme that the establishment has tried to push off as normal. Don't fall for it!
Concealed Carry Now
A state appeals court has said that the state can take as long as they want to implement a concealed carry law. Now, when the same appeals court ruled the state should pass a law, they gave 6 months. The state took 7 months. That's just to create and pass a law. But, when it comes to implementing the law ... apparently it's completely open ended ... according to the courts. Now, the law lays out a timeline for implementation, but even with that, you look at the backlog of FOID card applications and it's comical to think how the state can process the expected 400,000 or more CC licenses.
News on the March
If there's time, we'll cover some of the under-reported stories you should know about. This isn't just a chance to blast through important stories that are getting overlooked, it's also a chance for you to include stories you think should be covered.
