You Didn't Build That, Tonight's Committee of the Whole, and NOTM

Today with Bishop On Air, we'll talk the latest news on the abject overstepping federal government with Obamacare ... how is it impacting you? We'll also get a preview of tonight's Springfield City Council Committee of the whole meeting and if there's time News on the March! Don't miss Greg Bishop weekdays from 10 to noon on 970 WMAY, The News and Talk of Springfield.

You didn't build that

Obama did ... and it sucks! With the HealthCare.gov website still a disaster and with it impacting navigators ability to help people who will be required to register for health insurance, there's a plan to maybe postpone the individual mandate--you know that thing that the "tea party terrorists" with the "cuckoo caucus" asked for during the government shutdown? Well, the White House is moving to postpone the mandate. And it's not just the website that sucks. Apparently the law itself is an abomination.

With that in the news, we'll also review what Young Americans for Liberty say could be as many as 20 million people set to lose their current coverage under Obamacare, something the president said wouldn't happen! I want you to call in and share your experience thus far. Have you received details about your premiums going up? Or maybe details about your plan going by the wayside? Let's compile our experiences together and highlight what a disaster this mandate is and will continue to be unless it is repealed.

Tonight's Committee of the Whole

We'll get a preview of tonight's Springfield City Council Meeting with a ton of ordinances in front of aldermen. Could there be talk about another six-figure workers comp payout, or maybe changes to contract preference for minority contractors, or how about the proposed whistle-blower ordinance from the Mayor ... who knows? We'll break it down to discuss which ordinances could take precedence.

News on the March

If there's time, we'll go through some of the latest headlines you should know about to be an informed public. Everything from food stamps being cut, drone victims to head to DC, army recuits getting Lipo to meet fitness standards, the NSA and more is fair game. Don't miss a minute of Bishop On Air on 970 WMAY!
