Calvin Christian's suit against Springfield Police claiming a conspiracy to harass was given the green light by a federal judge after dismissing the city's motion to drop the case. What that means is the case can move forward and is worthy of a trail. We'll go through the court document and analyze what that means. Read it yourself here.
The first 302 pages of the long-sought-after 2,300 page Illinois State Police report on the conduct of Graham and Carpenter was released last month. We'll go through the first chunk of that, including a letter from an attorney that raises significant questions about the conduct of the detectives in dealing with informants. School's tech budget
(From yesterday) With severe cuts to District 186's budget for things like Macbook laptops (can they get anything more expensive?), the question is how much technology should be used in classrooms? Should they instead isolate technology to a specific class or instead have tablets and computers for every student in the district? Budget realities are trending to a more austere perspective, but at what costs? Parents ... sound off on what you want the district to do with technology.
