Halfway House Advocates Fight For Funding

About a dozen people have told a state commission that Governor Pat Quinn's plan to close some inmate halfway houses will have disastrous effects.

 

The speakers included a convicted felon who says a transition center on Chicago's West Side helped him get his life back on track after prison.
