The Bel-Aire hotel has been fined $141,000 dollars for code violations, according to the State Journal-Register.
The notorious Springfield landmark was ordered to pay the fines which include 470 code violations coming in at $300 a piece.
The fines are the result of three-days of inspections spanning from January to March.
City inspectors looked into every room of the 80-room hotel on South 6th Street and found plumbing, electrical and other building violations. The building’s owner has 35 days to appeal.
