Susan White New School Board President

Susan White is the new president of the Springfield school board. She had served as vice-president for the past year. Outgoing president Bill Looby will replace White as board vice-president.

 

White’s nomination was approved on a vote of six-to-nothing, with one board member abstaining.

 

Judy Johnson had engaged in a sometimes heated exchange with White earlier in the evening over the district’s budget crisis.
