Experts from around the country who will take part in a whirlwind study of Springfield next week say the 72-hour rapid-fire exercise is a process that works.
The Sustainability Design Assessment Team, or S-DAT, arrives in Springfield Sunday night, holds a town meeting Monday evening, and delivers recommendations on Wednesday.
The team leader says it’s a schedule that allows the experts to get multiple points of view at the same time so that different interests and priorities can be balanced.
But they also say the report to be delivered next week is a beginning… not an end.
