Suicide Investigation at Springfield Park Ongoing

Police are investigating the death of a man found in a Springfield park as an apparent suicide.

 

The State Journal-Register reports the man’s body was found in the driver’s seat of a red pickup truck in the parking lot of Douglas Park at around 8:30 Sunday evening.

 

Springfield Park District police are heading up the investigation.
