Ten people are recovering from injuries this morning after a school bus rear-ender a semi truck on southbound I-55 Monday afternoon.
Ambulance and fire crews from around the area responded to the accident around mile marker 57.
According to a state police report, the ten injured people, including the bus driver, were transported to hospitals in Litchfield and Hillsboro.
One student was airlifted to Cardinal Glennon Hospital in St. Louis. No one was listed in critical condition following the accident.
