County Deputy Accused of Stealing Plants

A Sangamon County deputy has been accused of stealing plants from a Sherman park, while on duty.

A Sangamon County grand jury has indicted Sherry Waldron on two counts of theft. Prosecutors contend she took two potted plants from the park on two different dates earlier this month.

She was reportedly in uniform at the time. The plants are valued at around 80-dollars.
