A former cop who left jobs with the Springfield and Southern View police departments under a cloud has now been indicted by a Sangamon County grand jury.
J. Zeid Langan is accused of battery and official misconduct for an incident in March while he was on-duty as a Southern View officer.
Two women say Langan groped them and made sexually suggestive comments following a traffic stop.
Langan was fired from the department shortly afterwards.
He left his job as a Springfield cop several years ago after being accused of sexual contact with a woman while on duty.
