Springfield Logs First Homicide Of 2013; Victim Fatally Shot Early New Year's Day

Springfield has already logged its first homicide of 2013. 

 

Authorities say 24-year-old Deshawn Jones was shot to death on the front porch of a home on East Cedar early on New Year’s Day. 

 

Authorities have identified a suspect, but continue to interview witnesses as they investigate the case.
