Buffalo/Mechanicsburg Police Chief on Paid Leave, Under Investigation by Village Officials

The police chief for Buffalo and Mechanicsburg has been placed on paid leave while village officials investigate a complaint against him.

 

The State Journal-Register reports Chief William Hill has been on leave since January 1st.

 

Village officials won’t disclose the nature of the complaint against him, but say it does not involve allegations of financial or sexual misconduct.

 

Sergeant Bryan Honea is serving as acting chief.
