Congressman Aaron Schock is threatening legal action against ads that are running on radio and TV in Central Illinois, accusing Schock of siding with liberals to pass a massive tax increase.
The ads, which are airing on cable and broadcast TV [as well as on 970 WMAY] are sponsored by a conservative group called the Jobs and Progress Fund.
Schock’s office says the ads are provably false, and says the so-called “fiscal cliff” deal that Schock voted for actually cut taxes for most Americans.
