Deadliest Blaze in Quarter-Century Still Under Investigation

It could be several days before Springfield fire investigators get definitive answers on the cause of a deadly fire last week.

 

Four members of the same family, including two teenage brothers who attended Lanphier High School, died in that fire on North Ninth Street.

 

It was the deadliest blaze in the city in more than a quarter-century.
