Democrats Dominate Simon's Firearms Working Group

Lieutenant Governor Sheila Simon has convened a Firearms Working Group, made up of freshmen lawmakers who will try to find workable compromises on gun and gun control legislation.

 

13 of the 15 members of the group are Democrats, like Simon.

 

But she says both gun control and pro-gun groups have agreed to talk to her committee in hopes of finding common ground.
