Fire Destroys Vacant North End Home

Investigators are still working to determine the cause of a fire that destroyed a vacant home on North Fifth early this (Thursday) morning. 

 

Fire Chief Ken Fustin says the house is a total loss.  Fire crews were called to the scene around 5am and found the structure fully involved. 

 

One firefighter suffered minor injuries from debris in his eye as he battled the blaze.  He was treated at the scene.
